Paper Yard Waste Bags
Bag to Earth has designed a new
biodegradable garden waste bag that is ideal for home composting as well
as being simpler, cleaner and more efficient for all waste diversion
systems. This bag is a 100% Canadian answer to a universal problem.

This square bottomed paper bag stands up on its
own, even when empty, for ease of filling. It uses two layers of special
reinforced kraft paper that has the proven ability for holding and
diverting all kinds of yard waste. This all - weatherproof paper bag can be
left out in all climates. This paper bag is not only
stronger than plastic; it can hold yard waste better than plastic.
Each bag holds yard waste from the time you start to fill it, through
hauling right to the compost site or it can be placed in a back yard composter.
The bags start to biodegrade as soon as they are placed in an active compost
pile. All the raw materials needed to construct this bag, including the glues and
printing inks, are biodegradable and compostable.
There is no need for de-bagging these yard waste bags. They become part of the
finished compost and ultimately part of the food chain. Stringent testing in Canada, the US
and Europe has shown that the paper yard waste bag and the food waste bag have absolutely
no negative impact on either the composting system or the finished compost. In fact
results have shown that the bags actually enhance the soil's ability to grow.
