Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) has been a leading recycling and composting municipality since 1998. As the program continues to grow both residentially and commercially, BAG TO EARTH is expanding its presence in HRM.

BAG TO EARTH offers both small and large plastic-free compostable food waste bags made from 100% paper to help consumers separate their kitchen waste with ease and ensure that kitchen waste can be processed into nutrient-rich Gatineau Green Bin with Bag Liner compost material. Our leak-resistant bags have a 100% natural-fibre lining made from cellulose and can be sealed by folding the top of the bag to minimize odours.

The BAG TO EARTH Small Food Waste Bag can be used as a liner for your kitchen mini-bin or it can stand alone on the counter, and the BAG TO EARTH Large Food Waste Bag can be used at family reunions, offices and commercial operations.

Using BAG TO EARTH paper products, made from 100% renewable resources, improves our environment by recycling food waste, extending the life of landfills and reducing greenhouse gases.
